James moved his family to California in 1923 or 1924. We worked at Redlands Pest control in citrus and drove a truck and worked on trucks and cars for several years. Later, he owned his own garage and worked the remainded of his working years there.

Ed moved to California in November 0f 1935 and went to work at Redlands Highlands Pesto Control, in Citrus. In the fall of 1941, he returned to Missouri where he farmed until the summer of 1942. He moved back to California and went back to work for Redlands Highland Pesto Control where he worked until his death in 1972.

Visited cemetery, July, 1999. Unable to locate grave and found no listing of death at county courthouse. Also visited with postmaster, who had a listing of graves at the cemetery which did not include Zola Mae.

Talked to Garland, brother of Zola Mae, and he confirmed that she was buried at Benjamin and had visited the cemetery back in the 70's with his Dad, and they were unable to locate grave at that time. Initially, the grave was marked with a large rock which they were unable to find in the area of the cemetery that his Dad remembered as being the burial spot.
