In all probability, John was buried in the Walser Cemetery on Hwy 64. Unfortunately, none of the tombstones, other than Fredericks, survived the long years.

Henry was co-founder of Yadkin College and lived on Dykers Creek at the Yadkin River. He was the owner of slaves.

Tombstone inscription: He was an honest man, a true friend, a kind husband and a devoted father. He was a magistrate member of the Legislature Union Elector in 1860 and the founder of Yadkin College and for 25 years, Chairman of it's Board of Trustees. He crowned a long and useful life with a Christian's triumphant death.
