HIS BODY WAS CLAIMED ON 9/26/1864 BY THIS FATHER, GEORGE WASHINGTON WALSER AND WAS BURIED IN SELMA, ALABAMA. SEARCHING OF RECORDS IN SELMA, ALABAMA DID NOT INDICATE WHERE JOHN THOMAS WAS BURIED. 2
