He also studied with Dr. P. A. Aylett in New York.

3.  Membership: Tarrant County Medical Society & Texas State Medical Association. 

4.  Military:During the Civil War, Dr. Beall served as Surgeon to the Tenth Texas Cavalry; was Chief Surgeon of Walker's division; and for a while acted as Medical Director on General Dick Taylor's Staff.
