General Notes: Wife - Artie Marie Phibbs

There is an audio tape of Marie STILLWELL, who is Cecil M. PHIBBS niece. (She is one of Lou Ella Phibbs-Stillwell's daughters). She remembered going on a visit to St Louis to see Aunt Artie, (Artie J. signed and sent her letters in the name "Marie") who had been sick in the hospital, and when she arrived, found out that she had passed away. After proving her identity, she identified her body, so she could be released for funeral and burial. She remembers that there was a Catholic Service. Which leads us to believe that she converted to Catholicism. This could help us find her death and burial record in St Louis.
