General Notes: Husband - J. C. Clark



I believe that J. C. & N. J. are the parents of David S. Clark.  The only proof I have at this time is that there were several Clark graves in a 25 to 30 foot square at the McWright cemetery.  This looked like a family section with the cemetery.  Included in this area were the graves for J. C., N. J., and David.  Maybe coincedence, but I don't think so.


General Notes: Wife - Nancy Jane Wood



Nancy tombstone list her name as N. J. Clark.  I found her name 'Nancy Jane Wood' in the book 'Hunt County, Texas, Funeral Home Records, Coker-Matthews Funeral Home, May 1921 - Dec 1926, Greenville, Tx.  In Volume Two, page 193, of the series, reference is made of her in Book 3, Page 276.  Here Jesse M. Clark has died and J. C. Clark and Norma Jane Wood as his parents.


General Notes: Child - Jesse M. Clark



Based on the information found on tombstones in the McWright Cemetery in Hunt Co., Tx (north of Murphy, Tx.) Jesse had three wives.  I have nothing to support this (other than the information found on the Funeral Home Record found for Jesse M. and William Thomas) to support these conclusions.
