Margaret was probably buried in the Walser Cemetery located near the junction of Hwy. 64 and the Yadkin River. In 1983, the highway was widened and the only readable tombstone in the cemetery was that of Frederick, her husband. This stone and all the recoverable remains of the cemetery were reinterred in a mass grave at the Yadkin College Cemetery. ¹
